Can you believe that Antarctica wasn’t discovered until January 1820? After sailing there myself, yes, I can believe it. It is the most inhospitable, raw, but majestic place I’ve ever been.
It goes by many names: the Last Continent, the 7th Continent, the White Continent and the South Pole.

There must reside in anyone who undertakes this journey, a little adventurer who longs to see what very few people have seen in person. In the following ten posts, I will recount my unique experience sailing to the great White Continent.
